My later educational experiences is the turning point of my academic life. As for the high school, preparing for the test of entrance, I was "forced" to study hard and memorize knowledge as much as I can. And to finish the tough task of study, I invented many methods to study and to make me remember quickly, which helps me a lot until now. It is in the high school that I had an idea about the major of Teaching Chinese as Foreign Language and chose it as my major.
As for my life in college, I don't think it contributed to my academy and I believe it gave me a lot of chances to experience different things and to challenge myself. Totally different with high school, there are many activities in university. I participated into some competition and organized many activities for university students, which gave me the chance to learn what cannot be learned before. Furthermore, it's the program between my university and Dickinson State University provided me with an opportunity to come to America for 10 months as an exchange student. After that, my outlook, my goals and my abilities are totally changed. I found myself love experiencing different cultures and made up my minds to go abroad again. My goal of life is to see this world by my own eyes and my ability of living is improved and I became more independent.
Talking about the most influential teacher, my teacher in my first year of high school came up into my mind immediately. It was him that told me the major of Teaching Chinese as Foreign Language. He is not only my teacher but also my friend. His family and my family went to travel together and we lived very near before he moved one year ago. He gave me a lot of expectations and believed me a lot. Although he is not my teacher in the next two years of my high school, he always cared me very much. He would ask my performance from my teacher and helped me with my study before the test of entrance. I think he is a person that I should always be thankful to.
